Cryptic Mirror Messages

bathroom problem 1

The mirror on your bathroom cabinet fogs up after a nice hot shower. As you approach, a handprint slowly takes form, as if someone were gently pressing their hand against the glass. You attempt to brush it off by wiping it away with the rest of the mirror fog, but the next few times you shower things only escalate, and you begin seeing cryptic numbers, letters, and symbols. Fed up, you elect to take cold showers instead. Now instead of foggy finger drawings, you’ve got smudgy bloody messages all over the mirror instead! Sometimes you wipe them off when you first enter the bathroom, only for them to immediately reappear after you open and close the cabinet.

Solution

This particular ghost haunts your bathroom cabinet. It’s time to clean up that disgusting mug you keep your toothbrushes in and sweep away all your stray hairs from shaving. How would you like it if someone came into your home and started messing things up? Obviously you’d hate it, that’s why you’re on this site in the first place! Keep the bathroom cabinet and sink nice and tidy, and the messages will stop.

Alternatively, rip the cabinet off the wall and board up the mirror. The downside is you won’t have a bathroom mirror anymore, but at least you won’t keep having to clean up blood every morning. Who wants to face themselves every morning anyways? Just make sure to never put it back, uncover it, or destroy it, as the spirit will be infuriated with you and make every glass surface in your home a bloody, smudgy mess.

Blood Bath

bathroom problem 2

Every time you go to take a bath, gallon upon gallon of blood pours from the faucet, filling the tub and splashing all over your pristine white floors. You’re on your hands and knees every morning throwing bucket after bucket out the window and scrubbing the grout as hard as you can, but it never seems to stop. You’re fed up washing yourself in the neighbor's kiddie pool; you need your bathroom back!.

Solution

This one is a bit tricky to resolve. Hemorrhaging faucets is often the result of a previous occupant who was brutally murdered. Your only recourse here short of contacting an exorcist is to solve the murder. Instead of seeing this as daunting detective work, see it as an opportunity to get yourself out of house and into your community. Get down to your local library, learn a little about your local history. Everyone will be telling you their horror stories about the house in no time, which may lead to the answers you seek, or to lifelong friendship with your neighbors that won’t be mad at you for breaking into their yard and scaring their children anymore!
